Here's an example of the way MDS caters to quality: unlike many other '3D' films which give a 'false' 3D look (they are actually rendered with one camera and then duplicated), the films MDS provides are truly stereoscopic, as the film is rendered with two cameras. This means that it is as good as real life (and even better, thanks to the FX!). Also, polarisation is used to produce the end result so that color ghosting is eliminated which is what you normally get with traditional '3D' films.

The viewers see the film with glasses that are non wired and have none of the 'two color' (i.e. red and blue glasses) business. This means that their eyes are not strained and the viewing is very comfortable for them.

Of course, these films can be viewed in a non-3D format as well. With the purchase of a theatre or simulator control system, several ride films which you choose are included. Other films you require can also be bought separately. Check for new titles as there is continual production of new films all the time.

Now, MDS has ride films available in HD (High Definition) format for both 3D and 2D. These HD movies are very crisp and clear due to the higher resolution and the top notch quality of HD. A clear advantage over normal resolution, this increases the excitement of the ride film experience.

The library also includes a range of 3D live action ride films which are filmed with 2 cameras instead of the usual 1, with special equipment which gives 3D output instead of the static 2D movie look.
